More than 70 solutions of Russian companies were presented at the international exhibition China Hi-Tech Fair

The China Hi-Tech Fair, the largest technology exhibition in East Asia, was held in Shenzhen from November 15 to 19. The Russian digital industry was presented at the stand of the CIPR conference and the government of Nizhny Novgorod region by 37 Russian companies with 74 solutions and products designed for the international market.

The 25th CHTF Hi-Tech Fair became the largest in its history – this year’s exposition occupied 500,000 square meters. More than 100 countries and regions, including Russia, presented their developments in 9 pavilions. The stand of CIPR and the government of Nizhny Novgorod region displayed 74 solutions of Russian companies, including solutions of Rosatom dedicated to nuclear medicine and clean energy generation, flow-platform for electric cars from Hyper, a wide product line of Sberbank, including speech recognition and synthesis technologies, as well as autonomous driving, cybersecurity platform from Rostelecom-Solar, ERP-solutions from Galaktika, more than 30 software solutions from Nizhny Novgorod IT companies.

The Russian delegation included representatives of key technology companies: Rosatom, Rostelecom, Hyper, 1C, DOM RF, Goznak. One of the main tasks of participation in the exhibition was to inform Chinese partners about their solutions, to study the local market and its demands for a wider presentation of products next year.

As part of the forum, Gleb Nikitin, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region, and Olga Piven, Director of the CIPR Conference, met with Lin Hanjun, Director General of the CHTF exhibition. They discussed effective cooperation in 2023, as well as prospects for expanded cooperation in 2024. From 2023, the CIPR conference focuses on strengthening the integration agenda, developing mutually beneficial cooperation with EAEU, SCO, BRICS member countries in terms of the high-tech segment.

Gleb Nikitin, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region, proposed to expand Russian-Chinese cooperation in the field of digital technologies and invited Chinese representatives to participate in the international ESG forum “SO.ZNANIE” and the CIPR conference, which are held annually in Nizhny Novgorod. He noted that he sees great potential in building a dialog with China and offered to become a key international partner of CIPR-2024.

“CIPR is actively scaling up, reaching the international level, and in 2024 the conference will be held within the framework of Russia’s BRICS chairmanship. We plan to significantly increase the number of companies and delegations from BRICS and BRICS+ countries to build a dialog with the international community,” said CIPR Conference Director Olga Piven.

China Hi-Tech Fair is the largest technology exhibition in China, the main center of technological achievements. The event plays an important role in the commercialization, industrialization, and internationalization of China’s high-tech achievements, and promotes economic and technological exchange and cooperation between different countries and regions.

For many years it has been a key platform for dialog between representatives of business and government on the digital transformation of society and various sectors of the economy. It is held annually in Nizhny Novgorod with the support of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation and the Government of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
