The CIPR Conference mission is to develop Russia’s digital economy, facilitate tech innovation, unlock tech potential in various industries and foster international cooperation in technology with partner countries.
Each year, CIPR comes forth as a key forum serving business executives and public officers. Here they can discuss digitalisation of the society and rapidly reshaping industries that underpin Russia’s economy and facilitate international cooperation. This is a space where decisions are made that set the course for the entire nation and initiatives are discussed that affect IT industry development and underpin Russia’s technological self-sufficiency in strategic sectors. Our active attendees include Mr Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Mr Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation; Mr Dmitry Grigorenko, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff of the Russian Federation; Mr Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation; Mr Anton Alikhanov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Mr Gleb Nikitin, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region; and executives representing the country’s major digital companies, such as State Corporation Rostec, Rostelecom, Rosatom, Sber, Yandex, T-Bank, Gazprom Neft, TMH, Kamaz, Russian Railways (RZD), Astra Group, Rosseti, MTS, MegaFon, and many others.
“We are pleased to once again host the nation’s key business event in digital economy and tech in Nizhny Novgorod for the seventh time. This conference focuses on the most vital “digital” topics: import phase-out, the nation’s technological self-sufficiency, digital talent pipeline, cyber security, and artificial intelligence. The Nizhny Novgorod Region has something to offer in each of these areas as it is a recognised national-scale IT industry hub. The scope of our businesses’ operations extends far beyond our region and determines the entire industry’s course by offering solutions that prove efficient all over our country”, said Mr Gleb Nikitin, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The event’s business programme includes plenary sessions, panel sessions, and roundtables where a wide range of topics will be discussed, from fiscal support to building a platform-based economy and creating digital ecosystems in Russia.
In 2026, CIPR will continue facilitating technological cooperation with the EAEU, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation and BRICS member states. The forum’s international dimension and partnerships with friendly states will boost Russian businesses’ export capabilities and expand their opportunities in new markets.
“Over the last years, the global IT landscape has radically changed. In this environment, CIPR comes forth as a key communication platform facilitating convergence of the major global tech industry players, thereby creating broad opportunities for cooperation. At CIPR, attendees can meet potential partners in person, make new contacts, sign agreements, and showcase their products and solutions in our fair”, said Ms. Olga Piven, Co‑Founder and CEO of the CIPR Conference.
In 2025, the CIPR Conference was attended by over 15,000 persons representing all regions of Russia and over 40 countries. More than 300 agreements were signed, including IT cooperation contracts with China, Cuba, Serbia, Iran, Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan, and Equatorial Guinea. Our business track held about 140 sessions; 176 exhibition booths were placed in our fair grounds to showcase Russian and international digital solutions.
