From June 5 to 8, Nizhny Novgorod hosted the Tech Friendly Weekend Festival, a satellite of the CIPR conference and the main event about artificial intelligence and modern technologies. For four days, the festival focused on the main city site – the Nizhny Novgorod Fair and the Vysota Youth Center. Dozens of events were held here, which brought together over 4,000 participants from all over the country.
The X anniversary conference “Digitalization of Industrial Russia” started in Nizhny Novgorod: the first novelties and statements

CIPR-2025 brought together representatives of business, government and the IT sector at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. On the first day of the conference, business sessions on topical issues of the digital economy and technology were held, an exhibition of digital solutions was opened, and presentations of new products and technological solutions from participating companies took place. The guests of honor at the event were Igor Komarov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District; Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation; Sergey Chemezov, CEO of Rostec State Corporation; Vasily Borovko, Rostec Director for Special Assignments; and Mikhail Oseevsky, President of Rostelecom, and many others.
The business program included sessions on digital business transformation, cyber defense, artificial intelligence, import substitution, and robotics. The event opened with a discussion of strategic issues and technological priorities of the industry in the context of transformation, moderated by Maksut Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.
A high-profile part of the event was the announcement of the launches of the small Geoscan-4 and Geoscan-5 spacecraft scheduled for the summer of 2025 (Geoscan company and the Gonets satellite system). The aim of the project is to test packet data transmission technologies for remote monitoring and personal communications. “We are creating universal satellite platforms that can be used to test and implement a wide range of space services from our partners and customers. Cooperation with Gonets will make it possible in the future to deploy a modern constellation of communications satellites that will meet the needs of the state and business,” explained Alexey Semenov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Geoscan.
Rostec State Corporation presented more than 20 domestic digital solutions for aviation, telecommunications, logistics, medicine, education and other industries at the anniversary CIPR. One of the main innovations is the KUPoL IT system for after-sales support of Russian SJ-100 and MC-21 aircraft, which will be delivered since 2026. The system accumulates information about the life cycle of an aircraft and links together the aviation industry, from manufacturing plants to airlines.
SOGAZ presented a novel comprehensive Sustainable Health solution located at the intersection of medicine, business, government and technology. This is a multifunctional integrated IT platform for managing the health of teams, thanks to which the employer will see online updates on staff morbidity, risk group analytics and other data. “The development of the platform is in line with SOGAZ’s strategy for the digital transformation of insurance services and the creation of an ecosystem to protect the health of employees. Today, we are ready to offer our existing customers to test the platform as an addition to their VMI program,” commented Tatiana Tamgina, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of SOGAZ.
One of the main themes of the exhibition was the demonstration of an AI-based solution:
- Sber has introduced the latest GigaChat 2.0. This technology is available in the public and private cloud, as well as in the customer’s infrastructure, which is suitable for large companies with high security and autonomy requirements.
- MTS demonstrated the possibilities of generating meeting summaries based on artificial intelligence in its own MTS Link server solution. The goal of the development is to enable customers to use innovative features to enhance operational communications available in the cloud. Streaming decryption is also based on AI technologies, with plans for real-time translation into foreign languages.
MTS Exolve and the ROSSETI Group intend to introduce neural network agents for the robotization of customer service in small and medium-sized businesses. At the exhibition, MTS Exolve showed a wide range of communication services “from one window” with the possibility of registration through Public Services Portal, which allow to improve the customer experience, personalize services and interact more effectively with customers.
Rostelecom presented Aurora Automotive – an operating system and multimedia for Russian cars of the future based on the Aurora OS.
Fplus has brought to CIPR the first comprehensive Wi-Fi solution for building large-scale wireless communication networks. This is the latest domestic development of this level with advanced functionality, capable of supporting the deployment of large-scale Wi-Fi networks (up to 20,000 users). It will find application in the field of transport (train stations, airports), public life (shopping malls, stadiums), trade and logistics (warehouse complexes, industrial parks). In addition, the company showed a prototype of a mobile game console designed for performance testing and debugging of gaming applications.
ASCON presented computer-aided design and pre-production systems for products made of polymer composite materials, which were developed with the participation of ICC Dvigatelestroenie for the purpose of import substitution of software products in JSC UEC Aviadvigatel.
In line with an established tradition, a series of agreements were signed between key representatives of the digital industry on the sidelines of the CIPR. On the first day, more than 100 strategic agreements were signed, including those from MTS, Sber, the Center for Information Technology of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rostelecom, Softline, Zyfra Group, Yandex, etc.
Besides, CIPR signed a cooperation agreement with the TNF industrial and energy forum. “For a few years we have been actively developing cooperation with leading international and Russian convention and exhibition venues, from the China Hi-Tech Fair to the TIBO ICT Forum. Such projects contribute to the exchange of experience and building productive business relationships. We are pleased that TNF has joined our partners.” — commented Olga Piven, co-founder and director of CIPR.
And in the international pavilion, the Russian integrator DAO Tech and the Chinese Kuntu announced an international partnership. The strategic agreement is aimed at the joint launch of local production of servers, data storage systems and other solutions in Russia. DAO Tech will help the Chinese manufacturer build a chain of local partners and promote digital sovereignty and technological sustainability.
The Basis Company, the Tatarstan Information Technology Center and the high-tech IT Park have agreed to create a cloud-based IT infrastructure based on domestic software. The project provides for the use of Basis solutions in public service systems, e-government, and the infrastructure of commercial organizations. A DevOps platform and a VDI environment will also be deployed in the republic, and training of IT specialists will begin.
The X conference “Digitalization of Industrial Russia” is being held on June 2-5, 2025 with the support from the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, the Government of Moscow and the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
