CIPR together with the Nizhny Novgorod Region Government will participate in East Asia’s largest technology exhibition, China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF-2024), which is scheduled to take place on November 14 to 16, 2024, in Shenzhen for the second time. The event will feature a joint booth showcasing Russian solutions for the international market. MTS, 1C Firm, Dao Tech, STM Labs, and a number of Nizhny Novgorod companies will present their products to demonstrate the developments and achievements of the region.
Russian Companies Presented Technological Solutions for the International Market at the China Hi-Tech Fair in China
From November 14 to 16, 2024, Shenzhen hosted the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF-2024), the largest technology exhibition in East Asia. At the event, CIPR, in collaboration with the Government of Nizhny Novgorod Region, presented a joint booth for the second time, showcasing Russian solutions for the international market. The Russian delegation comprised representatives of leading technology companies, including MTS, 1C, Dao Tech, and STM Labs, as well as a number of Nizhny Novgorod companies that presented the region’s developments and achievements.
The companies presented a range of solutions for telecommunications, business automation, software development, and mobile apps. They also unveiled new products, such as consulting services tailored to working with Russian customers. The following developments were showcased at the booth: Limavi’s video analytics platform capable of controlling the production process; SWoyo’s platform for the telecommunications industry; Fractal technologies for photo and video recording of traffic regulations violations; Pi.One and flexiflow services by STM Labs designed for working with large amounts of data; and ИТ-маркетплейс.рф by Gorky Tech, ANO, which is a multilingual catalogue of domestic IT solutions.
The event included a business meeting between the representatives of CIPR and the organizers of the China Hi-Tech Fair, headed by Cheng Liu, President of the Fair. The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for expanding international cooperation between the countries. Particular emphasis was placed on invitations to Chinese companies to the 10th CIPR Conference, which is scheduled to take place in 2025 and expected to be a notably large-scale event.
“Each year, the international component of the CIPR Conference gains greater strength and prominence. It provides an excellent opportunity for our companies to present themselves, expand their networks, and find new partners. We witness a discernible increase in interest in our region and our IT industry. This is particularly important today,” said Gleb Nikitin, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Besides, at the joint CIPR and the Nizhny Novgorod Region Government booth, Dao Tech and Sichuan Xilan Trading signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate the entry of Chinese IT companies into the Russian market. As a result of this collaboration, new projects are anticipated in a range of high-tech sectors, from industrial Internet, cloud computing, AI, 5G to robotics and smart warehouses.
“Our objective is to establish partner relationships with businesses in China and Southeast Asia. Platforms like CIPR and the China Hi-Tech Fair provide technology companies with the opportunity to expand their geographical reach and gain access to new markets, as well as present their developments at the international level,” said Olga Piven, CIPR Conference Director.
The China Hi-Tech Fair serve as a platform for showcasing the world’s latest innovations and achievements, while facilitating global trade and exchange in high-tech products. This year, the exposition was situated within 17 pavilions, occupying approximately 400,000 square meters of space. Approximately 5,000 companies from over 100 countries and regions took part in the exposition, which covered 20 major areas, including AI, medical innovation, new energy sources, heavy industry, railway technology, smart agriculture, big data, and future technology. The IT infrastructure exhibition showcased solutions based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, virtual and augmented reality technologies, and a wide range of robotics, including industrial, medical, and service robots.
The Digitalization of Industrial Russia (CIPR) is the foremost business event in the sphere of digital economy in Russia. For many years, it has served as a pivotal forum for dialogue between business and government leaders on the digital transformation of the society and various economic sectors. The conference is held annually in Nizhny Novgorod with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, and the Government of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
