International Scale and Digital Development Trends: What Awaits Participants at CIPR-2025

Every year, the CIPR business program reflects the main issues of digital technology development in Russia. During the tenth anniversary conference, the participants will not only assess previously adopted decisions and systematize all digitalization achievements for the previous period, but will also reinterpret them and define the national development vector and goals for the next 10 years. Achieving these goals will lay the foundation for establishing Russian digital business as a global technology leader. The ecosystem track of the business program will be Data Economy, and discussions will also be focused on import substitution, industrial digitalization, artificial intelligence, IT personnel and international technological cooperation.
Over the past ten years, Russian technologies have made a powerful leap forward. Reforms, new organizations, national programs — all this has not only changed the IT landscape, but laid the foundation for the future digital economy. As the market grew dynamically, the CIPR Conference has also developed, becoming the main event on the digital agenda that unites business, government and society, and conveys the main values and challenges of the digital world.
Investments, efforts by technology developers, and digital market regulators multiply year by year, accelerating progress. In this context, import substitution serves as a powerful driver for new industrial projects and a critical strategic initiative implemented by the state. On the foundation of comprehensive technological renewal, advanced development technologies are already being established, forming the basis for a new technological landscape in Russian business.
“In early summer, Nizhny Novgorod will once again become a platform for discussing the main trends, problems, and prospects for the development of the information technology industry. In view of the implementation of the new national project Data Economy, such communication is especially relevant. CIPR makes a significant contribution to shaping Russia’s long-term digital development strategy, and we are grateful that the anniversary conference will once again take place in Nizhny Novgorod,” said Gleb Nikitin, Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The CIPR-2025 business program includes 6 main thematic tracks covering various aspects of digitalization, as well as an additional special AI track focused on the development and implementation of solutions based on machine learning technologies.
- Data Economy: an ecosystem track where participants will discuss the opportunitiesof the Data Economy national project in various industrial sectors.
- Business: a track for digital market participants, dedicated to the digital transformation of various economic sectors, leadership in industrial technologies and current business strategies. Key topics include systematic implementation of promising digital technologies.
- Tech Leadership: a strategic track of technologies and digitalization products of tomorrow. Participants will discuss which import substitution technologies and programs can become competitive in global markets and what to focus on in their business.
- Cybersecurity: a track covering key aspects of combating cybercrime.
- Personnel: a practical track dedicated to the development of human resources in the digital industry. The track is focused on the formation and development of key competencies for the high-tech era.

Special attention will be given to the development of international cooperation with BRICS, EAEU and SCO countries. The business program will include sessions formed in partnership with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). Participants will discuss issues of mutually beneficial cooperation in the global market, tools for promoting technology projects and digital ecosystems, as well as interaction in artificial intelligence and digital city management.
“The CIPR Conference continues to develop international cooperation and promote dialogue between countries. We are pleased that foreign guests are actively participating in the discussions, and the dialogue between global market participants opens up new opportunities for growth and development for mutually beneficial partnerships,” commented Olga Piven, Conference Director.
In addition to the business program, participants will be able to visit an exhibition with technological innovations from Russian and foreign companies, and the Tech-Friendly Weekend youth technology festival will take place at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair and the Vysota Youth Center. The Global Digital Forum will be also held on the sidelines of CIPR.
