Digital Jane by CIPR at the Marco Polo Hotel at Patriarch’s Ponds
On March 21, 2024, an unusual room named Digital Jane by CIPR opened its doors at the historic Marco Polo Hotel at Patriarch’s Ponds. This distinctive space is set apart from the rest of the hotel by its innovative and super-technology features.
The most advanced digitalization and smart solutions are seamlessly integrated into the futuristic design. For example, the Xiaomi ‘smart’ water mattress offers adjustable temperature and sleep stage adjustment, the YUKKA neck and shoulder massager, as well as the face LED mask that improves skin cell microcirculation. Additionally, the room is equipped with wireless charging stations compatible with a range of gadgets and a centralized control button for managing all in-room screens, tickers, and lighting.
The most intriguing object of digital transformation in Digital Jane by CIPR is the voice assistant, Alice. It is shaped like a bust of Jane McGill (the first owner of the old building where Marco Polo is located) and is the central component of the ‘smart house’ system. Alice controls the microclimate, notifies guests of visitors, prompts guests on how to open the safe, and more.
All digitalization elements enhance guest comfort and, of course, provide a pleasant surprise and an impressive experience.
CIPR supervised the design and equipment of Digital Jane by CIPR. CIPR is Russia’s largest platform for developing digital technologies and the country’s primary business event in the digital economy. The joint project with Marco Polo was a logical extension of all CIPR’s ongoing efforts to integrate cutting-edge technologies into all aspects of life in the country.
‘The digital environment, meta-universes, and technologies have created a new reality in which individuals have endless possibilities for self-realization, learning, and recreation. We have developed a project that allows users to immerse themselves in the epicenter of the technological universe and can directly interact with all smart devices. For us, this is a step into the digital future, offering an interactive experience with technology and a chance to integrate it into everyday life, to explore generative forms of art,’ said Olga Piven, CIPR Conference Director.
Digital Jane by CIPR will be available until the end of 2024.
