CIPR Announces an Open Call for Artists to Participate in the Decipraland Digital Art Exhibition
On May 21 to 24, 2024, Nizhny Novgorod will host the 9th Digitalization of Industrial Russia (CIPR) conference, the main business and cultural event on the country’s digital economy. As part of the conference, CIPR will present the Decipraland NFT art exhibition, the theme of which will be the unification of physical and digital experience in various spheres of modern life.
The works presented on the exhibition will be shown on media screens in the CIPR pavilions, as well as on other venues in the AR format.
The exhibition will feature works that have appeared due to the development of technology and the experiments of creators using such technology.
Such ephemeral art works are not so easy to understand, but this does not prevent them from becoming increasingly significant both in the art market and in everyday life. Digital art is increasingly appearing in residential and public spaces, and this is the most eloquent evidence of how closely people today are connected with technology, the possibilities of which in all areas are, without exaggeration, limitless.
Contemporary artists from all over the world who work in various genres of phygital art are invited to participate in the Decipraland exhibition: that is, they use digital tools and analogue materials to create their works.
The above can be digital paintings, video art, media art, VFX videos, digital sculptures, animated 3D objects, as well as works created using a neural network.
Applications are accepted until May 6.
