A Russian automated system designed for butt welding of casing pipes (diameters from 102 to 245 mm) at oil production facilities. Its implementation allows replacement of threaded connections and reduces well construction costs: metal consumption decreases by up to 30%, soil excavation is reduced by half, and cementing volume is cut by three times. TongWELD combines high productivity with precision, and the complex is certified for explosion safety.
