One of Sheremetyevo’s priorities is the development and implementation of innovative technological solutions to ensure efficient production activities and comprehensive airport security. Thus, specialists from JSC SIA developed a unique Digital Airport Management Ecosystem, which allows optimizing resources and reducing costs for the airport and airlines, and created the country’s first Airport Cyber Security Center.

1)Sheremetyevo Airport’s project to introduce biometric identification of passengers during pre—flight formalities is a comprehensive solution that allows for key operations: check-in, baggage check-in, passage to a “clean” area and boarding – without presenting a passport and boarding pass, using the passenger’s face as the main identifier.
The main goal of the project is to create a seamless and safe passenger path, in which identity identification occurs automatically at all stages of service, starting from entering the terminal and ending with boarding the aircraft. This significantly speeds up the passage of pre-flight procedures, increases airport capacity and passenger comfort, while maintaining high standards of transport safety.
The project is being implemented as part of an experiment initiated by the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, and will be the first such experience in the country.

The Airport Management Center is an information system with analytical reports and dashboards. It is a specialized software solution that serves as a situational and analytical core for airport management. The system aggregates data from all production and support services in a single interface. The function is to provide timely and reliable information for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and making managerial decisions. At the slightest deviation, the system allows the management holding’s team and functional managers to respond instantly to changes, ensuring full control over the processes.
