* JSC Biometric Technology Center, established in 2022, is an operator of the Russian Unified Biometric System (UBS), a nationwide platform for biometric identification and authentication.
* The Center is responsible for the development of the UBS and engaged in the introduction of technologies and services based on biometrics.
* The UBS provides collection, storage and processing of biometrics: voice recordings and face images.
* The UBS user profile ensures access to multiple services, including online banking and biometric payments. The list of services is constantly being updated.

Product:

The world’s first project to provide biometric access to business lounges. Using the ON PASS access system, in collaboration with the National Payment Card System (NSPK), the bank’s premium clients are provided with biometric access to business lounges. Clients undergo initial onboarding and provide consent on the NSPK website. Biometric terminals are installed at the service counter in the business lounges, allowing to identify the client and display available service packages to the employee.
Further processing and transaction processing follow the standard ON PASS system.
Launch in April 2026 in 30 major Russian cities.
