Age verification via biometrics
Age verification service developed by the Biometric Technology Center to be presented at the CIPR 2025. A new service allows purchasing age-restricted goods without presenting documents in full compliance with all legal requirements.
In 2025, the age verification solution will be implemented in retail chains for offline sales of 18+ goods, as well as in vending machines selling energy drinks. Any adult citizen who has registered confirmed biometrics in the Unified Biometric System can use the service.
The use of biometrics in the sale of 18+ goods will prevent the sale of energy drinks, alcohol and tobacco to minors, as well as eliminate errors in determining the age of the buyer due to the human factor. For retail companies, the solution makes it possible to reduce the number of personnel at self-service checkouts and, as a result, reduce costs.

Industry Solution for Mobile Biometric Registration Based on Aurora OS
The Russian-made KVADRA tablet powered by the AuroraOS provides a complete cycle for registering verified biometrics in the Unified Biometric System.Currently, verified biometric registration is possibleonly in specially equipped bank branches. Due to the growing popularity of biometric services, there has been a need to simplify the in-personregistration procedure. The solution based on Aurora OS allows biometric data
