The Nizhny Novgorod Part of the PHDays 2 Cyberfestival Youth Day Will Be Held at the CIPR Tech Week

On May 25, Nizhny Novgorod will host the Youth Day of the Positive Hack Days (PHDays) 2 Cyberfestival. The event will take place at the A.D. Sakharov Mayak Academy as part of the CIPR Tech Week Technology Festival. Schoolchildren and students, aspiring professionals, as well as those wishing to master cyber literacy skills are invited to participate. Participation is free of charge.

The PHDays 2 Cyberfestival will bring together information security and IT professionals, ethical hackers, as well as everyone interested in getting to know the digital world on one platform. On May 25, a teleconference will take place, which will simultaneously connect 4 cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan (Innopolis) and Nizhny Novgorod, and after the broadcast, participants will have a rich program with entertainment for visitors of all ages, from the youngest to the older generation.

At the festival, practicing cybersecurity experts will talk about the specifics of their profession, share personal stories about their career path, as well as secrets on how to become a sought-after professional in the industry. Thematic workshops will also be held on this day, where you can complete real information security assignments. Each workshop will be dedicated to one of the four professions in information security: Hacker, AppSec Professional, SOC Analyst and Threat Researcher.

The youth day HR activities will be organized for those who want to link their careers with cybersecurity. The lecturers will talk about highly paid professions, introduce visitors to the largest IT companies and internship opportunities they provide.

“Over the course of 13 years, Positive Hack Days has grown into a large-scale Cyberfestival open to everyone. And this year it expanded not only beyond the indoor venues, but also beyond Moscow, and will be held in several cities across Russia, including Nizhny Novgorod at the CIPR venue”, says Andrei Yankin, Information Security Center Director of Jet Infosystems, a Partner of PHDays and the Cyberfestival Youth Day. “All guests of both events will be able not only to improve their digital literacy, but also to learn about the most popular professions in the cybersecurity industry today. This track is of particular importance to us, as we, one of the largest integrators in the country, have been involved in information security for more than 20 years. Therefore, the development of the industry, changes in competencies, personnel shortages, training of new cool domestic experts: all this is what we really care about, it is our reality.”

Participation in the Positive Hack Days 2 Cyberfestival Youth Day is free of charge. Pre-registration on the website is required. One should select the city of participation in the Application Form.
