The 30th International Information and Communication Technology Forum, TIBO-2024, was held in Minsk on June 5-8.
Alexandra Zharkova, Georgy Lobushkin, Yelena Pavelyeva, And Other Bloggers to Speak at CIPR Tech Week
From May 20 to 26, Nizhny Novgorod residents will be able to attend lectures, public talks, workshops, discussions, and a large number of entertaining events for schoolchildren, students, young scientists, and anyone interested in technology and self-development in various industries. The festival will be held at eight city venues: the House of People’s Unity, Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, SBER GARAGE coworking, IT lecture rooms in Corner Place, Creative Space, Vysota Youth Center, Sakharov Mayak Academy, and Nizhny Novgorod Fair.
The CIPR Tech Week business program includes five tracks covering different areas:
– AI, Computers, and Virtual Reality. How to find yourself in the digital world? Is there a danger in the development of neural networks? How to use VR competently in business? What are cyber universes?
– Economics and Finance. How to manage personal finances? Where to start investing? How to avoid unprofitable businesses?
– Trends. What impact does sport have on cognitive abilities? What exactly is Digital art and what is an NFT? How can we manage the flow of information? And why is that important?
– Education and Career. Is education still relevant in today’s world of blogging? How to find a calling in life and start monetize your hobbies? HR experts will share their tips on how to nail a job interview and where the most successful businessmen study?
– Psychology and Self-Development. Festival guests will learn how to gain authority, avoid burnout, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
As part of the business program, festival visitors will have the opportunity to communicate with professionals and leaders in areas like media, technology, finance, HR, game design, and more. Among the speakers at CIPR Tech Week are Alexandra Zharkova, Co-Founder and Development Director of SETTERS Communication Agency and CEO of SETTERS EDUCATION; Georgy Lobushkin, who is behind the Lobushkin and Lobushkinmolnit Telegram channels and the Vlobushkin YouTube show; Alexandra Lekomtseva, Development Director of Sample Gallery and Blazar Youth Art Fair; Yuliya Susova, PR and Development Director of Zielinski&Rozen, Rockets coffee, Beauty Spoon collagen, Beauty Director of Aeroflot, creator of Susfood and the Hedonistcats Telegram channel; Yelena Pavelyeva, expert in brand creation and promotion, author of the Conversation with a Psychologist YouTube show; Tatyana Ivanova, President of the Association of Bloggers and Agencies, Founder of Hello blogger Influencer-Marketing Agency; Marina Rudenko, actress, director, and performer who played the main female role in the popular game Atomic Heart; Pavel Puchkov, editor-in-chief of the MAXIMOnline website, and many others.
There will also be cultural and entertainment events happening at CIPR Tech Week. For young robot technician, there will the Festival of Robots. Kids, where participants will have a unique chance to evaluate and improve their professional skills, communicate with peers, and learn about new careers. From May 21 to 24, at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair’s first pavilion, guests will be able to enjoy Roboboy, 3D hand modeling, 3D puzzle assembly, robot programming, as well as drone flight simulators and the Beat Saber game with virtual reality elements.
INVESTFEST, a practical event for startups and investors, will take place on May 24. On that day, entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from all over Russia will gather at the Kupno Start site at the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region (KUPNO). Speakers will share their best practices and experiences, group masterminds will help guests solve their problems right away with the help of invited experts, and investors will be offered actual deals with technology startups at different stages. Special guests at INVESTFEST-2024 will be Renata George, first Russian-speaking female investor who has invested in and sold several international unicorns (CreditKarma, Behance, and Canva.ru), and Vyacheslav Solonitsyn, Co-Founder of Mighty Buildings, who builds 3D houses and has raised over $150 million in Silicon Valley.
On May 25, the Positive Hack Days 2 (PHDays) Cyberfestival’s youth day will be held at the Sakharov Mayak Academy. It will bring together information security and IT specialists, white hat hackers, and anyone interested in the world of digital technologies. The cyberfestival will feature a teleconference connecting four cities simultaneously: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Innopolis (Kazan), and Nizhny Novgorod. After the broadcast, the participants will enjoy a rich program offering entertainment for visitors of all ages, from the very young to adults.
For those looking to test their knowledge of modern technologies and digitalization, while having fun with friends, a special IT-game from Quiz, please! will be held on May 20. The game organizers have put together a special package of questions related to the main topics of the CIPR Tech Week festival. The competition will start at 7 p.m. at the Brewery.
On top of all the cultural and entertainment events during the week, city residents will enjoy a unique blend of modern music and gastronomy. There will be pop-up corners and food trucks from the city’s best restaurants on the open-air platform in front of the Nizhny Novgorod Fair. Everyone will be able to play ping-pong in the fresh air and enjoy special DJ sets from Nizhny Novgorod musicians.

CIPR Tech Week is a week-long tech festival held during the CIPR conference. It includes all kinds of educational and entertainment events related to tech development and popularization across the country and in Nizhny Novgorod in particular. In 2023, the festival welcomed over 1,500 guests. A total of 67 lectures and public talks were organized for students and young IT specialists.
